MEMORY QUILTS
Memory Quilt - made using clothes from your loved one - such as baby, child, parent, grand parent etc... make a lovely keepsake which will be around for generations.
The top is made using clothes provided by you and sandwiched in the middle is soft breathable natural cotton wading. It is then professionally quilted thru all three layers using a meandering stiple stitch which can be seen both on the top and bottom in a matching colour to the binding/backing. To finish, I have added top quality 100% cotton double edge binding for extra strength and durability.
When considering which size you would like, please keep in mind the amount of clothing required. I am more than happy to double and even triple some of the squares, provided the clothing is big enough. I have listed 15 colours for the Backing/Binding, so there is plenty to choose from.
Please contact me before placing your order so we can arrange for your to send the clothes to me. Due to time taken to make these heirloom quilts, I prefer to receive items of clothing before the order is placed, so I can be sure we have enough. Please note - STRICTLY NO DENIM OR WOOLLENS.
Quilts are made to last a lifetime. A heirloom which can keep as a memento for life. I take great pride in individually making each and every quilt.

**Unless requested, remnants of the clothes which are cut to make the quilt will not be returned. Postage costs for the return on cut up clothing will fall on the buyer**

CALIFORNIA quilt is made by cutting items of clothes down to 7” squares, adding a stabiliser to the back and then trimming down to 6.5” squares. Size permitting some items of clothing can be used multiple times.
-Small Quilt - 6 rows across x 8 rows down - Minimum of 40 items of clothing
-Medium Quilt - 8 rows across x 10 rows down - Minimum of 70 items of clothing
-Large Quilt - 11 rows across x 13 rows down - Minimum of 120 items of clothing
-Small Quilt - 6 rows across x 8 rows down - Minimum of 40 items of clothing
-Medium Quilt - 8 rows across x 10 rows down - Minimum of 70 items of clothing
-Large Quilt - 11 rows across x 13 rows down - Minimum of 120 items of clothing
WASHINGTON (Teenagers and Adults)
WASHINGTON - quilt is made by cutting clothing down to 7” and 13” squares/rectangle, adding a stabiliser to the back and then trimming down to 6.5” and 12.5” squares/rectangles. Size permitting some items of clothing can be used multiple times, however, this is not recommended for the smaller size.
-Small Quilt - 16 items of clothing
-Medium Quilt - 22-30 items of clothing
-Large Quilt - 45-55 items of clothing
-Small Quilt - 16 items of clothing

SEATTLE quilt is made by cutting the t-shirts down to the size of each individual print, adding stabiliser to the back, then using your colour choice of sashing, joining each block to complete the quilt. The finished size often depends of the print sizes and quantity of t-shirts provided, however, they will alway be a minimum of 125 x 150cm. With this particular quilt you must send me the t-shirts before placing your order to allow me to ascertain that I have the enough to finish your quilt.
Ideally - 20-25 t-shirts are required for optimum results.
